Ângela Rodrigues holds a degree in History from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa. She is currently the Head of the Cultural Intervention Division at Amadora City Council, a position she has held since July 2024. In this role, she coordinates the municipality’s cultural policies and projects, oversees cultural and museum facilities, and implements a diverse artistic programme that values multiculturalism and local heritage.

She has been part of the municipality’s team since 1992, building a professional path in cultural management, curatorship and artistic programming. Her previous roles include serving as Coordinator of the Amadora Contemporary Art Centre, Casa Roque Gameiro and the Artur Bual Municipal Art Gallery, where she conceived and led key projects that have shaped the cultural landscape of the city.

Her work has focused on promoting visual arts, valuing both tangible and intangible heritage, and driving audience development and cultural mediation initiatives.
