Vera Inês Costa da Silva is an anthropologist, holding a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, and a collaborating researcher at CRIA – Centre for Research in Anthropology. Her work focuses on the intersections of gender, carcerality, exclusion, and justice in academic, institutional, and community contexts, using collaborative, feminist, and decolonial ethnographic methodologies. She is also part of the Portuguese team of the European project INTERACT – Intersectional Approach to Combating Homelessness for Women, implemented in Portugal by Ares do Pinhal.
