Criminologist and Coordinator of the Lisbon Outreach Team at CRESCER
PORTUGAL
Holds a degree and a postgraduate qualification in Criminology from the Faculty of Law, University of Porto, and currently works as a coordinator and criminologist in the “É UMA RUA, LISBOA” project at CRESCER.
Since beginning their work in harm reduction in 2018, they have coordinated outreach projects targeting people in situations of vulnerability, including people who use psychoactive substances and people experiencing homelessness.
They have extensive experience in community-based intervention, STI testing among vulnerable populations, and harm reduction related to substance use and tobacco. More recently, they have joined harm reduction and crisis intervention teams in recreational and nightlife settings, such as the Ravers’ Care Corner and the Boom Festival.
