She leads the organisation’s three international programmes: the World Habitat Awards, run in partnership with UN-Habitat; the European Campaign to End Homelessness, supporting Housing First and systemic change; and the Global Community-Led Housing Programme, which empowers communities to create their own housing solutions.
Louise began her career at the homelessness charity Shelter, where she worked as a second-tier legal adviser and trainer. She later established a community credit union, which now supports nearly 8,000 members and has lent over £33 million locally. Over her career she has held national and international roles combining policy influence with practical, community-based action.
