Giuliana Miranda

She is a Luso-Brazilian journalist and works as a reporter for the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper in Portugal. She is also a commentator for SIC, focusing on issues related to Brazil.
Her work primarily revolves around topics related to human rights, public health, migration, and climate change.
She holds a Master’s degree in Democracy Studies from the Catholic University of Portugal and has served as the President of AIEP (Association of Foreign Press in Portugal).
Currently, she is a member of the organization’s board. In addition to her coverage of European affairs, she has extensive reporting experience in Africa, with a particular focus on countries in the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).
She was also a fellow of the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) in a reporting program in Uganda.
