Graduated from the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA) as an Applied Psychologist in the Educational field, a member of the Order of Psychologists, with over 20 years of professional experience.
She has developed and deepened her knowledge and practice in the field of Human Rights and Children’s and Youth Rights, with pride in the years she served in the Child and Youth Protection Commission, Lisbon West, where her mission was to ensure the realization of the rights of children and young people through the application of the Law for the Promotion and Protection of Children and Youth in Danger.
Currently, she is the Head of the Division for Cohesion and Youth at the Department for Social Rights of the Lisbon City Council. This division includes teams that work in the areas of Interculturality, Migration, and Support for the Reception of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in the city of Lisbon.
