She was Senior Social Worker at the Ponta Delgada City Council from 1995 to 2001.
She was Chair of the Child and Youth Protection Committee of Ponta Delgada.
She was Head of the Social Action Division at the Ponta Delgada City Council from 2001 to 2022.
Currently serving as the Director of the Department of Social Development, Youth Education, and Sports at the Municipality of Ponta Delgada.
