As a person with personal experience in the use of psychoactive substances, he has been a member of the CASO (Consumidores Associados Sobrevivem Organizados) Board of Directors since 2011, one year after its formalization and registration. At CASO, he closely understands the issues faced by the Community of People Who Use Drugs (PWUD), with whom he identifies, as this is a broad and diverse community that shares common experiences. At CASO, he is involved in advocacy, project design and application, as well as project implementation and management.
In the European Network of People Who Use Drugs (EuroNPUD), from 2014 to 2021, he worked on advocacy, project applications, consultancy for other international projects, and the implementation and management of various international projects.
