Graduated in Sociology from the Institute of Labor and Business Sciences – IUL. Currently serving as a Councilor in the Municipal Council of Amadora with delegated responsibilities in Development and Social Intervention, Human Resources Management,
Housing, Health, and the Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth.
A member of the Office of Strategy and Planning at the Ministry of Labor, Solidarity, and Social Security since 2017. Held a leadership position at the Institute of Social Security, I.P., between 2012 and 2017. Worked as a Technical Specialist at the Institute of Social Security from 2002 to 2012.
Coordinated and participated in European and national interinstitutional working groups on topics related to Childhood and Youth, Minimum Income Schemes, Partnership Work, and the Social Network Program.
Has also collaborated with universities and social research and professional training centers in teaching, training, and research activities.
