Amanda Buchnea (she/her) is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Guelph in the Social Practice and Transformational Change program. Over the last decade, Amanda has worked within the movement to prevent youth homelessness in Canada and internationally, holding positions at A Way Home Canada, Making the Shift Youth Homelessness Social Innovation Lab, and the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree with honours in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo.
