Beatriz Sequeira Freitas completed her Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. In 2018, she carried out medical volunteer work with refugee populations in collaboration with Medical Volunteers International in Thessaloniki, Greece.
She is currently a fifth-year psychiatry resident at Hospital Júlio de Matos, where she has developed a particular interest in dual pathology consultations.
Beatriz has been collaborating with CRESCER since 2021, providing medical support to the Outreach Teams and the projects É UMA CASA, Lisbon Housing First, É UM RESTAURANTE, É UMA VIDA, UMPA, and UMEA.
