Since 2019, she has been working in the field of addictive behaviors, substance dependence, and homelessness.
She has worked as a Social Worker in a Therapeutic Community and a Shelter Center for Homeless People, and has been responsible for and part of street outreach technical teams in Lisbon, Loures, and Odivelas, as well as in shared housing projects.

Since January 2023, she has coordinated the Mobile Supervised Consumption Program team, as well as the Humanitarian Action Medicines Project at Médicos do Mundo, which provides access to medicines for people in situations of extreme vulnerability in the Lisbon metropolitan area.
